Elvia M. Tarango

Department: Spanish

Institution: University of California @ Berkeley

Position: Student

Research: Considering that my career interests change very often, I'm not really sure what it is I want to do! Eventually, I would like to go law school and pursue a masters in public policy as well. I am interested in issues concerning education, policy and economic development in minority communities. In addition, I also have a passion for Spanish literature and am interested in post-revolutionary Mexican literature as well as the modern Spanish novel.

Publications: Currently, I am surfing the internet in hopes of constructing a homepage dedicated to Spanish language literature. It would be a cornucopia of reviews, critiques, discussion on a wide variety of issues from Erasmus=B9 influence on Spanish Golden literature to Rosario Castellanos. I would greatly appreciate any information that others have for this endeavor! I am looking for links to other sights which may provide inspiration and a few good thoughts!

Other: I = want everyone to know that I am a novice in this arena and am here to enhance my living experience! I also am bilingual and am literate in the spanish language. Si quieren comunicarse conmigo en espa=F1ol-=A1Vale!
