Research: Providing some direction and having some imput into the quality of education of our future Latino college students is of great interest to me. It is just and proper that our voices be heard at the local educational level. Those students now in school are OUR children. They are ALL our children. Publications: I am currently involved as one of the 3 national coordinators of the Latino Educational Summit, to be convened in Phoenix, AZ, March 28-30, 1996, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This Educational Summit will bring together elected school board members, district superintendents, principals, teachers and parents in order to inform and train ourselves to become more involved and more effective in changing our local educational systems.
