Position: undergraduate student
Research: I am a journalist and a cultural worker. My current research is Media effects of Latina/o (In)Visibility in the Media. I will complete both of my degrees and both specializations in June 1996 and pursue a graduate career in writing or journalism in order to give a voice to my community.
Publications: La Gente: 1 article in both issues that were published Spring 1995. UCLA Magazine: watch for my byline in Summer 1995 and future issues. I am the president of Latinas y Latinos in Communications, please inform students in the major, those who desire to be in the major, or anyone interested in furthering the fate of their raza through the field.
