Institution: Oregon State University
Position: Graduate Student
Research: My research focuses on environmental and petroleum organic geochemistry. I am especially interested in exploring the deepest areas of the world's oceans by submersible. I hope to be a university professor so that I may teach and conduct deep ocean research. I enjoy writing and speaking with others expecially about science. I welcome any messages and make myself available for speaking at universities about my research interests or just the university experience.

Other: I am from Earlimart, CA, a farmworker community in the San Joaquin Valley. We grew up speaking both Spanish and English. My family is now third generation born and raised in the US as we are originally from Mexico. My grandparents are Yaqui Indios from Sonora. Life has been interesting so far. I do have alot to be thankful for and alot to look forward to. I hope to meet other people with similar interests and of course friendship. Peace.
